The wiki is not very exhaustive on this. I understand this is a recent addition to systemd that allows a "native" configuration whereby a laptop is suspended and after a certain interval it wakes up to hibernate. How would you go about what? using suspend-then-hibernate or configuring the delay between suspension and hibernation or configuring hibernation itself?

Suspend_and_hibernate#Hibernation is all that needs to be manually configured as explained by Power_management#Suspend_and_hibernate
