I am new to Arch Linux and I just discovered that my external USB devices are not showing up in the Files app.
I discovered that there is no /media directory either as there used to be in the previous Linux distributions that I have used as of now. I can guarantee that the USB devices were detected as there are relevant details in the *dmesg* output:
[10630.179201] usb 1-10: new high-speed USB device number 4 using xhci_hcd

But, there's nothing in the lsblk output:
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 931.5G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 550M 0 part /boot
├─sda2 8:2 0 16G 0 part [SWAP]
└─sda3 8:3 0 915G 0 part /
sr0 11:0 1 1024M 0 rom
So, what should I do next?
PS. It's my first time in this forum so I don't know the constructs of making those sub-scrollable boxes of command outputs.

Managed to solve it myself by executing the following commands:
(uname -a)
pacman -Q linux

Those are diagnostic commands, what is it you think they accomplished?
Please edit your first post to use code tags around the terminal outputs.

Those commands teach that one needs to reboot after upgrading kernel.

… or to ensure all desired modules are loaded before updating the kernel :-P
