Virtual Machine Manager reporting 0% cpu usage while running

Hello,

System: Host: owner-desktop Kernel: 4.19.6-1-ck-zen x86_64 bits: 64 Console: tty 0 Distro: Archlinux
CPU: 6-Core: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 type: MT MCP speed: 3646 MHz min/max: 1550/3400 MHz

I am having trouble finding any information about Virtual Machine Manager from libvirt reporting CPU usages under performance tab at always 0%, which is unusual to me. Am I missing dependency here? Has anyone come across this?

Re: Virtual Machine Manager reporting 0% cpu usage while running

Although I am unsure I can be of any help, I think you need to provide more information if you expect an answer. What is your host and guest system? What exactly is reporting 0% CPU usage? Your post is not quite clear about it. I do not know libvirt very much but you should be more precise about what exactly you have done and how it differs from what you expect.

Re: Virtual Machine Manager reporting 0% cpu usage while running

I apologize, must have missed this reply in my inbox, the host system is indicated in code tags as Archlinux. I've since destroyed that VM and now running Centos 7 as guest. Using Virtual Machine Manager, for QEMU guests, Information -> Performance -> CPU Usage is a constant 0% although guest OS is under load? See image pastebin here at https://pasteboard.co/HTCh93C.png? Am I'm missing a dependency?

I haven't done much of anything besides looking for causes online, since I haven't encountered this behavior on other distributions. I'll report a bug upstream due to lack of activity on this thread.
