Problems with power management on stable kernel.

Hi there,
I am relatively new to archlinux, and I have a problem with power managment of my laptop.
After fresh instalation with stable kernel my laptop is not shutting down or rebooting properly, power LED and fan stays on after shutdown. Also X (DWM) freezes after going into power saving mode after 10 minutes if DPMS is enabled.
Switching to linux-lts fixes everything, but creates some weird graphic artifacts on GTK windows. Is there any way to fix power managment issue in stable kernel? Any idea what could cause this issue?
Thanks in advance.

This isn't right. This isn't even wrong.

Re: Problems with power management on stable kernel.

You may want to 1) Set power config with powertop, manually or automatically if you set it to execute every log in and also checl the package called "tlp" for advanced power managemnet.

Re: Problems with power management on stable kernel.

You will want to post logs and details about your hardware, there's absolutely no information that could be used to help you here.
