I did the following:
1. Comment out the unique_id_module line in httpd.conf: #LoadModule unique_id_module modules/mod_unique_id.so
2. In httpd.conf
#LoadModule mpm_event_module modules/mod_mpm_event.so
LoadModule mpm_prefork_module modules/mod_mpm_prefork.so
3. sudo systemctl restart httpd
Still the same problem.

I posted a link on where to find the logs, not to the thing below… we don't have the slightest idea why it fails at this point.

Please provide
ls -lFa /run.
Both problems with Apache and MariaDB suggest a problem with your /run directory.
Also please prepend
LANG=Cto your commands to coerce english text output.

Is /var/run symlinked to /run?
See also: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=159681
And do you have by any chance SELinux installed and enabled?
Please also provide:
$ cat /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/apache.confShould look like this:
d /run/httpd 0755 root root -Last edited by schard (2019-01-25 12:58:48)

No symlink
SELinux not as far as i know. How can i check that?

No symlink
So?
Offline
SELinux is not part of the official repos. So if you installed it manually, you'd know.
Please provide Apache's tmpfiles config as mentioned above.
The symlink should be in place like so:
$ ls /var/run -l
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 6 6. Dez 15:19 /var/run -> ../runLast edited by schard (2019-01-25 13:02:26)
