Device mapper failure at boot after upgrade to 4.20.6

Hey everyone!

I have a luks1 encrypted lvm (root and swap) and a luks1 encrypted boot partition.

After upgrading to linux 4.20.6 i allways get following error on boot:

device mapper: reload ioctl on   failed: invalid argument
Failed to setup dm-crypt key mapping for device /dev/sdaX.

Check that the kernel supports aes-xts-plain-64 cipher (check syslog for more info).

I also get the error with linux-hardened 4.20.6 and 4.20.7 and also with the lts kernel.

Only thing helped was patching back to 4.20.5.

Interestingly i dont have the error on a vm where i have a similar setup.

Any advice?

Best regards 23pieces
