[SOLVED] Persistent trouble with conection to the Web

Recently I've installed Arch x86_64 on a Exo Smart R9-CE
Despite the fact I've been fighting since the simple flashing of the .ISO on a USB (because I was using a Unix system in which this is not a topic that I've saw debated too many times), until the simple navigation to 3 Web Browsers, such as: Firefox, Chromium, and Opera.
But the strange fact was that, once I was able to connect to do [cmd] pacstrap [/cmd] and install the system, I have no problems on downloading any package. I have installed KDE Plasma as a DE.
The trouble, which I cannot fix until now, was to navigate in the browsers mentioned above.
I have tried a long commands: systemctl, enabling the NetworkManager, adding DNS. Nothing solved this.
If someone think that could help me, leave me a tip, and I'll be posting the result of such help.
Thanks.

Was all from the installation media?

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent trouble with conection to the Web

I have to do a memory effort since I did not take note of ALL the commands, but the ones that I remember right now are:
[cmd]
#systemctl enable NetworkManager
#systemctl enable dhcpcd
#systemctl enable dhcpcd@eth0
#systemctl enable dhcpcd@lo0
[/cmd]
And add a few DNS to /etc/resolv.conf; such as:
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4
It's all I remember for now. Now I'm in another OS that I have installed because I had another problem installing GRUB. So let me a moment for check and I'll be posting the outputs of and all the commands I've used.

Your services are conflicting. Disable them all, and only enable the one you want to use.

And learn how to use code tags: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … s_and_code

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent trouble with conection to the Web

Sorry for the delay.
So, I don't know how to explain this... but the problem is solved.
Yes. As you read. When I went to home and start Arch, it had connection to all: browsers, pacman, everything.
I've done nothing more to achieve this.
Well, I think I'll be mark this post as solved.
Thanks for the help, although I did not explained it as must be explained.
See you in the next.
Perhaps I'll be posting the commands and its outputs in the future to help to whoever read this.

You can mark the thread as solved by editing your first post and prepending [SOLVED] to the title.

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent trouble with conection to the Web

If the services are still all enabled, nothing is solved here.
The concurrent services cause race conditions and undeterministic behavior.
Works. Works not. Works. Works. Works not. Works not. Installed ubuntu. …

Fix the problem as Jason told you to do. Then mark the thread as solved.

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent trouble with conection to the Web

Yes...now I have another problem: Arch does not appear in the GRUB menu, or, if it does, it says that I need to load the kernel first.
But I think it must be in another post, hence I marked this one as solved.
