Pariodic Freezing

Hello, I am kind of new to arch linux, and my PC has been freezing.

I am having a similar issue to this post: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=132829

I tried going through those solutions, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Let me know what I need to post to help find a solution, the freezing is livable because it is about one freeze per two days, but it is very annoying, and
when it happens, I cannot do anything including escape to terminal, the keyboard lights remain the same, audio works for a short period of time after.

Re: Pariodic Freezing

+1

I'm having the same issue here... periodically freezes and none of the keyboard input works.. can't go into terminal... I've been monitoring memories, nothing unusual been checking the journalctl.. don't see anything... really hard to pin point what the problem is... It would be great to hear what solution is provided for @dckook on Arch 5.0.8 My audio goes on infinite loop if I was playing a media when this happens...

Re: Pariodic Freezing

Please stop hijacking potentially unrelated threads

Freezing issues can have wildly differing causes. Make your own thread, and post logs and diagnostics from your own system. And read this before posting

FWIW @docbook since the hijack already happened, post

sudo journalctl -b-1

within [ code ] tags after having rebooted from a freeze.
