Hello,
I tried to find an answer for my problem on this forum but wasn't lucky.
The problem is that the screen of my laptop goes black after boot. Luckily, I found out that external displays are fine. So I tried to deactivate and activate the screen of my laptop. In this case the screen goes on for several seconds and then goes black again.
I have uploaded a video for demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eF7PwS5xnQ4
The problem started some weeks ago.
Here is the output of xrandr in the case that the screen (eDP1) is black:

Hello,
I have the same problem - my laptop seems to be the same as yours, zsoerenm - Dell Latitude E7470.
There is no image even if I switch to console - CTRL + ALT + F2. I have very old arch installation and the problems started after update.
The laptop screen has backlight on, I even can control the brightness, but there is no image, exactly as you are showing in the video.
I have solved the issue by adding "options i915.enable_guc=2" to /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf
# cat /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf
options i915.enable_guc=2
I have regenerated initramfs:
sudo mkinitcpio -p linux
and rebooted.
Hope it helps.

Pass "i915.enable_psr=0" to the kernel commandline. This is a recent issue and you may be loading the module in the initramfs and /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf doesn't apply.

Thanks! That worked.
I have not tried your solution @dudong, but I am glad that it worked out for you, too.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
