What does "Doesn't work" mean?  How have you configured your wireless?  What part of the connection process fails?  What error messages or output do you get?

Yesterday I installed the drivers for rtl8221ce and rebooted. I then used nm-applet which showed me that available wifi connections. Now when I use nm-applet Ethernet Netwok disconnected.

Re: Wireless Network not working

Two things to rule out:
1. Do you have a parallele windows installation?
2. Drop Networkmanager (stop and disable the service), reboot and try to connect w/ wifi-menu (to avoid all of NMs shenanigans on mac spoofing, polling and whatnot)

There's also been https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce/issues/2 - maybe some re-occurring regression? Try the lts kernel as well.

Re: Wireless Network not working

Also, as a sanity check...

Aug 03 21:54:01 archlinux NetworkManager[513]: <info> [1564849441.3678] manager: rfkill: Wi-Fi now disabled by radio killswitch

What is the output of rfkill
?

Re: Wireless Network not working

The issue has been solved. I just switched off the wifi in windows from the taskbar and this caused the wifi to be disabled in arch as well. Enabling it back in windows fixed the problem.

Re: Wireless Network not working

Cool.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

Edit, PS: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Du … t_Start-Up - it's likely the cause and wil re-trigger the problem in case.
