Random instant reboot without log info

I recently built a computer and installed arch linux and have experienced a couple unexpected reboots.
The first was on July 23, I found my computer rebooted and I didn't remember rebooting it. It is possible I forgot that I had.
The second was on Aug 10, I want to say I was in the middle of a Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V cut/paste operation while on firefox when it instantly rebooted.
In both cases I don't see anything in the logs that indicates why it rebooted (logs are below).
The PSU is a Corsair CX430. It was new/unopened, but it is the 2012 model so electronics may have aged.
My symptoms are similar to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=136363. I am not sure whether it has a short "freeze" before rebooting, however. I also am using gnome rather than kde.
I ran "pacman -Syu" July 18,19,27,and Aug 13. I still get a warning to "Read https://gluster.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Upgrade-Guide/ page!" which I have not sorted out yet. I mention this in case it's related.
Thanks for taking a look and any help. Let me know if there would be any other useful information to provide.

Re: Random instant reboot without log info

Current. Heat. Loose connection.

The time gap in the logs is too big to make the last lines seem relevant. Can you provoke it? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Stress_testing

Edit, also: dedicated GPU?

Re: Random instant reboot without log info

So you don't think it has anything to do with the os or kernel/drivers, then?
I will look into stress testing. I haven't done anything particularly computationally intensive, although web browsing is getting more that way with how bloated all the websites are. My cpu temp I think is typically 35-40C. Do they stress test loose connections by wiggling connectors? I'd be concerned about that causing damage from voltage spikes caused by connection breaks.
Yes, GPU is an evga/nvidia gt 640. It is the only used component besides the case. No integrated graphics from CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 1600).

Re: Random instant reboot without log info

A kernel halt/panic would not cause a reboot. It might be kernel induced (ie. some HW doesn't like a particular instruction) but the typical cause is one of the forementioned.

You check the connections while the system is powered down (and actually off power supply, though I usually take chances here ;-)
Just ensure everything is well seated and not floppy.

Ensure the GPU is in the proper slot (consult the boards manual) - do you have spare GPUs to test? (preferably ones that occupy only one slot, ie. some low end stuff)

Re: Random instant reboot without log info

Remote possibility https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196683 coupled with a watchdog forcing a reboot.
