[SOLVED] lilypond font issue

I ran into an issue with lilypond that I don't have any more ideas for on how to resolve it:

I have the latest version of lilypond installed from community. Whenever I do anything that adds text to the music (like add a title, a comment or just an alternative ending), I get an empty first page. (There is one exception to that, adding a composer works.) However, if I install the latest version via the install script from lilypond.org, it works. I've tried this on both of the machines I run arch on, both have the same issue.

So far, I have tried to rule out any issues on the lilypond side. I described my problem on reddit, and we've come to the conclusion that it might be a problem with the arch package, or a dependency issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any recommendations on how to resolve the issue?

Re: [SOLVED] lilypond font issue

There is a bug report here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/63300

This should be fixed with pango 1.44.4 (As of now the repos already provide 1.44.5)

Re: [SOLVED] lilypond font issue

Ah, thanks. When I first encountered the problem the repos did still provide an older version of pango. Should I mark this thread as solved somehow? (I'm new to the forum)

Yes. Mark your thread as [SOLVED] by editing the title of your first post.
