Hi, everyone.
I own a Dell Precision 7530 with the Intel UHD Graphics 630, and the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 (that I've upgraded from the default Quadro P3200).
This notebook has a GPU multiplexer, and hence has the neat feature where the GPU configuration driving the internal display can be switched between NVIDIA Optimus, or the dGPU only. I want to prioritise battery life with the notebook, so I generally enable Optimus (and only switch to the dGPU when I want improved performance, in rendering and games).
In Arch, my notebook boots fine in both modes, but I am presented with a completely black screen (LCD backlight off, too) when I boot Arch under Optimus mode. I can switch to the console using Ctrl+ Alt + F2, though, and log in there. Boot-up also works perfectly fine with only the Quadro GPU enabled, and no Optimus (both DE and console).
Furthermore, I cannot adjust the backlight using the keyboard shortcut on my notebook—neither in the console tty, nor in the desktop environment. When I do press the backlight adjustment shortcut, Arch spits out several lines of error code, which I believe has something to do with buggy firmware tables:
$[ 388.293574] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol[\_SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.BRT6.LCD], AE_NOT_FOUND (20190509/psargs-330)

I have installed the nvidia package, bumblebee and bbswitch, but I am not entirely sure what next. Oh, and for some reason, my CPU temperature is skyrocketing in Arch.
How should I proceed from here? Thanks very much.
