[SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

I installed Windows 10 on a separate hard drive so I could play ESEA, this caused my boot partition to no longer mount on startup which means as soon as I updated my Arch install through pacman my kernel no longer is in sync with what it has on it and what it is trying to launch (I think). The problem here is that I can no longer get into my window manager or really use Arch at all past the tty (startx no longer works) I think that I'm connected to internet which means that if I can mount my boot partition and pacman -Syu it should fix the issue (or so I hope)

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I still haven't fixed grub, I just use the f9 menu on the HP omen to choose which OS to boot into, though since my boot partition wont mount I'm not even sure I could fix grub until this issue is fixed.

So my two main questions are, how do I fix grub (the guide on the wiki didn't work but that's probably because my boot partition wasn't mounted) and how do I get back into my Arch install, which has all my school passwords saved on it.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/tmmHSwxRog64eRGz8 hopefully this link works, it is all the relevant command outputs I can imagine you'll need.

I hope this is the right place to put this, I just feel that this is a relatively noobish question.

Thanks for the help

Re: [SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

Could you explain it in stupid terms, ie - where I should go with chroot and what I should do inside there. I don't wanna risk losing all my data as all my passwords are saved there and a bunch of data that I need.

Edit - It doesn't look too hard but I'm a fucking idiot sometimes

Re: [SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

It is exactly the same process and when you installed Arch. You boot from live media, mount the target filesystems (/ and /boot) and then chroot in and run your upgrade/fix whatever.

Re: [SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

From what you said in your first post, your can boot your arch system - so I don't understand the question on how to "get back in" to your arch system for passwords.  Also, if true, you'd not even need to boot an iso and chroot, just mount your boot partition properly and reinstall the kernel.

Re: [SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

Sorry chroot into / or /boot, then I'm guessing just run pacman -Syu to fix it? and fix grub the same way as installing it (also it's been a few months so correct me if I'm wrong but / should just be my main partition that has most of my data on it right)

I can get into a tty, my passwords are in dashlane in firefox and I don't have the money for premium or my issue would be easy to ignore. And I cant mount /boot so... not sure that this is super helpful unless theres an easy way to mount my boot partition that I'm too new to know

That's not an error message: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855

Re: [SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

There's an error in the thrid image he posted.

You can't mount /boot because you can't load the vfat module because your installed and booted kernel likely already are out of sync.
Boot the failsafe option, mount /boot and update your system.
Alternatively, if you still have the old kernel package in the cache or cann access it from the internet, install that and reboot.
Alternatively, chroot into the system from a live iso.

That's a nonsensical question.  You mount all your partitions and chroot, just like you (theoretically) did when installing your system.

What guide did you follow to originally install arch?

Re: [SOLVED]/boot refuses to mount

Dumb is vague.  Ignorance is perfectly welcome.  But posting here for help when you have not installed a proper arch linux system, that is dumb ... and unwelcome.
