I have resisted asking for help because I like to try to do it myself but I have exhausted all my researched methods:
GOOGLE
Forums/Wiki
IRC/Discord
Steps I have tried:
Installed and enabled CUPSD(verified)
derek Skinner ~ $ systemctl status org.cups.cupsd.service
● org.cups.cupsd.service - CUPS Scheduler
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/org.cups.cupsd.service; enabled; vendor preset: dis>
Active: active (running) since Tue 2019-09-17 08:01:18 EDT; 10min ago
Installed hplip
Ran hp-setup as user in group lp and as root in sudo.
derek Skinner ~ $ sudo hp-setup

Tried in GNOME Control Center, says additional drivers required but shows nothing when it opens software center.
