SSH over LAN has suddenly become very slow [fixed]

I used to stream anime over LAN with sshfs, but recently something has gotten awry and ssh has gotten really slow, it seems it is routed over my adsl connection (1024/128).
The highest download speed I can get is 108kb/s where until recently I got 2.8mb/sb (on wifi)  (Both linux and windows (WinSCP))

The funny part is that ftp works at normal speed so it's not the wifi that is causing problems.

And I have _not_ altered the sshd config.

Any thoughs on this?

EDIT: ftp in arch is just as slow as ssh (windows ftp is still working normally)

EDIT (again): It was updated wifi drivers that was the culprit, updating them   (though not from repo) solved it
