[Solved]Network not working when booting linux-vfio and linux-vfio-lts

When I boot into linux-vfio or linux-vfio-lts, my previously working set up with netctl gets clobbered: ip link shows no wlan devices at all.

When running the -vfio kernels I have installed nvidia-dkms drivers. I'm also aware that I should reinstall 'networking' tools but am not sure what that means. I tried reinstalling netctl and broadcom-wl without luck.

If you rely on broadcom-wl you must install the kernel headers for your kernel and broadcom-wl-dkms to support other kernels than the standard kernel: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Br … roadcom-wl

Ha ha, as simple as that. That was it. Thank you!
It would actually be funny except for the time I spent on this. wink
