When I want to set up a new wifi profile with wifi-menu, the screen with profile name and password input is glitching:
The proposed solution here doesn't help.
Commenting out the whole bashrc file also doesn't change anything.
Do you have any idea what might be the problem?

The poster in the other thread was running KDE plasma and using Konsole as x-terminal .
Which Desktop Environment and x-terminal are you using ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Can you post an image of the complete dialog? Does this happen w/ a maximized terminal window as well?

Please replace the image w/ a link (the board has a 200x200px max rule)
This looks like a bug in dialog/wifi-menu
Does it work with a different TE (xterm or urxvt, *not* just another vte3 wrapper)?
Does it actually find any SSIDs there?
What's the ouput of
iw dev <interface> scan(replace <interface> with the actual device name, like wlp1s2 or so)

There is no bug with xterm which means the bug is related to termite.
Both termite and dialog packages are up to date.

Yes the first dialog shows SSIDs even though the graphics is also glitched. Image here

Looks like it should work, hopefully this info will help troubleshooting it.
