Howdy,
any suggestions for a Epson XP 4100?
I installed CUPS and asdded it that way but it prints gibberish.
I DL'd the Epson Linux Driver tarball but it says it needs lsp and I can't seem to locate that in pacman ir the AUR, I assume it''s prbably called something else now...
anyway, any suggestions?

Where did you download the tarball from? How did you attempt to install it? What exactly was the error message?

thanks for the fast reply, I was able to get this sorking using CUPS and the Linux Tarball from the Epson site.
I installed the drivers form the tarball again and was missing automake 1.15, once I got that sorted the install worked.
the error I was receiving on the CUPS server I was able to correct by copyin the listed mssiing file to the location CUPS was complaing nabout from the extracted Epson tarball
thanks!

I would have thought installing this driver from AUR would have worked and would have been simpler.

Hello, did you install the printer? How? I tried many times but no results even after installing the driver suggested by d_fajardo...

@bestiomannaro
I suggest opening your own thread with the specific problem your encountering regarding this printer. I believe plbowler has it already installed from the beginning and was just seeking help with the driver.
