[Solved] Fresh Arch Installation, no sound, no card detected

Hello! This is my first post, I hope it's going to be fine

I followed the guide and installed Arch linux on my Dell Inspiron 14 5000. Everything proceeded smoothly.

I have also installed Kde and lightdm. Finally I installed alsa, alsa-utils, pulseaudio and pavucontrol.  I am having troubles with my audio-card drivers apparently, as audio worked fine in my previous installation of Ubuntu 19.10
As of now, pavucontrol shows only dummy output, as well as alsamixer. I have digged a bit through this forum but could not find a solution to this.
I have also tried to reinstall Arch, in fear I might have missed something, but the problem has not been solved.  Following the same guide I was able to install Arch on another laptop with no problem...

Out of frustration, I have seen this thread here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=251157

and I tried blindly (I know it is risky and stupid, but I am desperate!) to follow the only command I could understand, which is
Change /etc/default/grub to have this line

 GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_osi='!Windows 2013' acpi_osi='!Windows 2012' snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0"  

Then run in terminal

 grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg 

and reboot.

The audio worked, but my touchpad stopped. So I reverted the changes and I am back at square 0, no audio but touchpad working again.

My kernel version is 5.6.2

Try installing sof-firmware and reboot if that does not work try adding only the option snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0

Thank you, I sign this as solved as adding snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0 to the line
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet"
in /etc/default/grub
and then running  grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
solved my problem. I wonder if with the next kernel update I should revert this change
