Networkmanager VPN connection

Hello,

I'm using networkmanager to connect to a personal server under windows with a vpn using pptp.
Everything is ok with the vpn connection but once i'm connected i cant use the ethernet in other apps.
For example, once connected in VPN, firefox can't access to internet connection, and only the vpn is working well.
I'm not a great specialist with it and i really want to understand what's appening.

Here are some pics of my connection config :

Hope to read you soon wink

Re: Networkmanager VPN connection

Hi. Your conection to the server seems fine.... but It sounds like you might need to do a bit of reading about client traffic through the server.

Re: Networkmanager VPN connection

Hi,

I'm not sure to understand... The link that you gave, is for Openvpn.
Will this work for my professional connection using only VPN ?
Because if  i have to modify some files, i'm not sure to know wich one.
As i told before, i dont know anything abour servers ;(

Re: Networkmanager VPN connection

Hey all,

This is what i have with the route command : first with my normal network and after with the VPN using pptp.

[jacques@AcerCave ~]$ route -n

192.---.-.- 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 100 0 0 enp1s0f1
[jacques@AcerCave ~]$

192.---.-.- 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 100 0 0 enp1s0f1

[jacques@AcerCave ~]$

I don't understand much about netwwork, but for me it seems like all the network pass through the VPN and i cant use anything, Firefox for example.
Is theer a way to share the network for all the apps ?
