Hi,

I just installed Arch on a new HP Dragonfly (5.5.8-arch1-1 x86_64), everything works except sound, same sound card.

$ sudo lspci -v | grep -A10 -i "audio"

00:1f.3 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation Cannon Point-LP High Definition Audio Controller (rev 11)

        Kernel driver in use: i801_smbus
        Kernel modules: i2c_i801
$ cat /proc/asound/cards

 0 [sofhdadsp      ]: sof-hda-dsp - sof-hda-dsp
                      HP-HPEliteDragonfly--861F

Any way to downgrade to 5.4.10 ? as mentioned, it's a new install and cache do not have that version.

Thanks.

I do have a similar issue on Linux 5.7.7 using X-1 Carbon 7th Gen. Using the lts version is working fine. Is there any exact solution for this instead of downgrading the kernal?

Install sof-firmware if you don't have it installed as well as alsa-ucm-conf
