[Solved]Fonts problem with krita and inkscape

I need to use some asian fonts like khmer, tibetan, devanagari but i dont know why its not working. I dont understand so much. i have installed them with pacman but nothing. they appear in the list like installed but its not display in the application. i only have luck with one sinhala font which i have download from the a buddhist web page http://metta.lk/fonts/. Which i have install with font manager 0.7.8. Indeed Font manager displays some of the fonts even in krita appears but simply doesnt work. What can i do? i work with slim as dysplay manager, and openbox running with screensaver. Thank you so much.

*i have partially solved this problem, reloading the locales and with the ibus plus inkscape. It didnot work directly on krita but i dont like the krita text editor. In conclusion i used inkscape for work with the fonts that i need and then continue with krita for colorazing

Re: [Solved]Fonts problem with krita and inkscape

Welcome to the boards, please post in [ code ] [ /code ] tags without the spaces the outputs of

localectl
locale -a
locale

Also more generally, you probably shouldn't use slim, it's not been maintained for years and has known brokenness with systemd sessions that might very well be the reason for your issue,  note the red warning: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SLiM

Re: [Solved]Fonts problem with krita and inkscape

Hi V1del. I have already replaced slim with lxdm and lxde too. And now everything feels so much better but fonts is still not working. And with Slim i havent seen the red warning because it isnt in the spanish version of the page https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SL … a%C3%B1ol) . Maybe we can talk with someone about it.
