A recent update to KDE Plasma (5.19.0-1 or 5.19.1-1 perhaps?) has left me without the "Switch User" item that used to be in the Kickoff application launcher.
Is there any way to get it back?

Hi, I'm on 5.19.1-1 and have the item.
Do all users miss the item?
- Try to flush plasma/KDE cache files and re-login.
- Backup your KDE files (~/.config/KDE etc., have a look in the wiki), and try to login with those dirs/files moved temporarily.
If it's there again, the culprit should be in your config or in an update gone wrong.

Normally restarting plasma works, but in this case looks like a restart fixed it. Thanks!

I have the same issue, and restarts do not fix it.
Plasma 5.19.4

Yes, looks like the bug is back in 5.19.4 for me too

I do confirm. "Switch user" option is missing since upgrade to plasma 5.19.4

Hi to everyone:
Same issue here ... kscreen 5.19.4-1, plasma-workspace 5.19.4-2 and plasma-desktop 5.19.4-1.
Can we report this as a bug into ArchLinux?

Could you share the bug ID with me, please?

Thanks a lot.
As workaround, I downgraded to systemd version 245.7-1, systemd-libs version 245.7-1 and systemd-sysvcompat version 245.7-1 and the switch user option is back.

Once someone has identified which systemd commit triggered the issue, it can be reported upstream to either the KDE or systemd developers so it can be fixed.
Then Arch can apply the fix.

I have the exact same issue along with there being no longer an option to change the look of the login screen (wallpaper, etc.). I remember you could find the option under the startup and shutdown part of the settings menu.

I like to do things a certain way, even if there's a simpler solution available. (No one will hire me, I know.)
