Wifi tethering with connman: "Connected, no Internet"

Basically I'm having this, but two years later lol.
The difference is I didn't test local server connectivity, and currently I have only one Android 10 phone to test on, but I'm pretty sure it worked before, but with the older Android 9 firmware, about two months ago.
Other than my laptop hotspot, there were no issues connecting from phone to wifi points.
Relevant info from hwinfo:
