Unable to access LAN devices

Hello,

I have a chromecast TV and I can cast (using VLC) to it on windows just fine. To get it to broadcast on windows you have to set network permissions to view devices on the network.

I'm trying to cast from VLC on my arch install but I am unable to detect the LAN device. Additionally I don't see devices such as my pi-hole either. At first I thought it was a network privacy setting but I do not see anything like that in the wiki.

On windows I can see my pi-hole and access it from it's static ip. On arch I cannot reach this static IP it's a DNS issue--or something.

I don't know how to access my network devices on linux. I use NetworkManager.

Thanks
