[SOLVED] WIFI reconnection after waking up from suspend is slow

Every time my computer wakes up from suspend, it takes a long time for it to reconnect to WIFI, a lot longer than on Windows for example.
I don't understand if that's a systemd issue or a NetworkManager issue.

How could I make the reconnection be faster?

I've ended up using iwd as the NetworkManager backend and that seems to solve the problem.
