Mixing films

I've uploaded films to usb stick and I go to the TV to watch them but after some minutes it starts another film that isn't on the USB Stick, so the problem is in uploading. I am so confused so how can I fix this.

That's a common bug w/ linux.
It sometimes just puts random porn on a usb key, totally w/o your knowledge.
Everyone knows that, right…?

seth I know about the unmount but when I use umount to unmount it it freezes and goes for a lot time. I don't know why. If you can give me advises about unmounting it I will be so grateful. That is the only problem I've met with using this OS. USB Sticks takes me out of mind and confuses me how much exactly things may go wrong

umount ensures all outstanding writes to the device are completed before the command completes.  If you skip umount outstanding writes the OS has scheduled to write to the device will be missed.
Writes tend to happen asynchronously,  the command returns while the operation will complete some time later.  Reads tend to be synchronous.

This, and you can always add 'sync ' to you command .. (see) man sync

The beginning of the dmesg excerpt actually suggests that this is exactly what happens, you unplug the key while data is being written to it. Generating those nice IO errors.
