[solved] HDMI audio not working

Hi everyone,

I have some trouble getting my audio to work. I have two audio interface that I like to use. SPL Creon works like a charm but when I want to get audio over HDMI well it doesn't want to give me any sound. I poked around a little bit with other posts that have the same problem but tbh I have no idea.

The Problem: When the HDMI of my graphics card (Radeon HD 7950) gets connected to the receiver (onkyo tx nr515) the video gets displayed on the tv but there is no audio.

In https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=207085 they suggested to increase the sample rate. But the HDMI should support 44100 and 48000

Still changed /etc/pulse/daemon.conf "default-sample-rate = 48000"

Because of the dmesg that says that bdl_pos_adj should be increased I increased it to random 16,16 (no idea what im doing here). What is bdl_pos_adj about? Should I crank up those numbers?

After searching for the solution for a long time, messing with the configuration deciding to post this here I finally got it working. I startet my Gnoem Session with Xorg instead of wayland an there we go.

So if anybod is bending their mind what they are doing wrong and try all the stuff that others recomend also just check by using Xorg instead of wayland .
