[SOLVED] No WLAN-Connection after reinstalling drivers in Windows

Hi everyone,

I am using Archlinux alongside Windows 10 (Dual-boot). After a problem in Windows I reinstalled the Windows-drivers for my wifi-card (the original problem has been solved in the meantime). However, after rebooting in Archlinux I was not able to connect to the WLAN anymore. I have following network cards (lspci -k):

07:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 20)
Subsystem: Lite-On Communications Inc Device 0804
        Kernel driver in use: ath10k_pci
        Kernel modules: ath10k_pci
08:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (rev 01)
Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device 091d
        Kernel driver in use: tg3
        Kernel modules: tg3

I'm using netctl. wifi-menu is able to scan the WLAN networks. However, netctl status <WLAN-profile> gives me this output:

× netctl@wlp7s0\x2d<SSID>.service - Automatically generated profile by wifi-menu
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/netctl@.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
    Drop-In: /etc/systemd/system/netctl@wlp7s0\x2d<SSID>.service.d

And ip link looks like this:

1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
    link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00

    link/ether ac:e0:10:5f:1f:a9 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

I have already tried to stop everything and start again, but I have no more ideas what to do. I also tried to start Archlinux from the installation image, but I get the same output. So I'm thinking it has something to do with the driver or the settings of the WLAN-card!?

I hope one of you can help me! And thank you to everyone trying to help!

Best regards!

P.S. Maybe the output of dmesg | grep ath10k helps as well:

Re: [SOLVED] No WLAN-Connection after reinstalling drivers in Windows

So I figured it out (more or less).

For all people stumbling upon this:
I installed iwd, so my network interface is now called wlan0 instead of wlp7s0. And instead of starting dhcpcd I used dhclient. I don't know what is necessary or is just an incident (maybe I changed something entirely different in the process), but now it is working.
