Incredibly high ping with wifi dongle

I am new to linux to bear with me.

I use a usb wifi adapter and have on windows got 100ms on a minecraft server i regularly play on.
Now i get between 100 and 3000 ms of ping (usually around 1500).
I am using rtk8821cu drivers from the AUR with my 8811cu device (compatible with the drivers).

I will provide additional information if necessary (idk what to include lmao)

Is it only the latecny or also the throughput?

Please post the outputs of:

sudo journalctl -b
ping -c3 google.com
ping -c3 <your_mincraft_server_here>

sorry dw i have fixed it. i was previously using the dongle in a front usb port but sticking it in the back fixed it
