Hi,
I'm using kde and after today's updates, my ~/.config/autostart-scripts/autostart.sh just vanished and i'm faililng to find a cause for it.
Fortunately my last backup done by backintime from last night at 0:00 saved my a$$ and i swear i did not used this machine after the backup if not for runing pacman -Suy and rebooting.
Did it happen to anybody?
-EDIT-
I just found this new file: /home/koko/.config/autostart/autostart.sh.desktop
containing: Exec=/home/koko/.config/old-autostart-scripts/autostart.sh
and indeed my script was moved there, but not executed for some reason.

Oh my, what a bad way to manage the update, see:
// Delete or rename autostart-scripts to old-autostart-scripts to avoid running the migration again
...really?

Sorry to bump this old thread, but it's directly related: You set this thread to "SOLVED" – but you did not tell how. My ssh-add.sh script is migrated to old-autostart-scripts, and the autostart/ssh-add.sh.desktop points to it. Nonetheless, it no longer works since a couple of days having installed Arch updates.

You are searching for answer to a problem solved more than a year ago.
Still, you are so sure it contains the solution to your problem that you think I failed to provide the solution to mine.
If it is still not clear, i just moved my autostart script and I don't have a clue what your issue is.
Try to add it again via autostart kcm panel.

it no longer works

Especially whether "not works" means it's not executed at all or just doesn't do what you expect it to do.
Then likely open a new thread if this is an issue rather w/ the script than its invocation.
Online
I am going to close this thread and invite Nursoda to go ahead and start a new thread as this is likely a new problem.
