i create a partition from windows to save my important files, and then install arch without touching the partition, and now I get that it is encrypted with bitlock sad. Do you know how to force entry?

Re: Bitlock

You can’t. This is the point of encrypting things.

It is also unlikely that installation of Arch has caused that: Linux has no support for BitLocker volumes, so it couldn’t create one. You have done that yourself from under Windows.

The only other explanation I could find for a similar behaviour, but it would still require you to first create a BitLocker volume under Windows, is installation of a bootloader — e.g. GRUB — and starting Windows through it or disabling Secure Boot.

Also, please update the topic to be descriptive and note that the name is “BitLocker”, not “Bitlock”

Sometimes I seem a bit harsh — don’t get offended too easily!
