Transmission: could not connect to tracker - solved

Hey! I am trying to download a movie from a torrent file via transmission, but I get the error "could not connect to tracker"

Can you download from other torrents? It seems to me that this is the problem of the torrent itself. Maybe the tracker of your torrent got shut down.

Try with a legal download from the internet archive like https://archive.org/details/three_muske … 2_librivox

That torrent lists 2 trackers (both run by the internet archive) which work fine on my system using transmission-cli .


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
