Hey. Recently i've installed other distro with dual boot on Arch, but both normal kernel and grub fallback had corrupted.
I'm getting this: Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
My problem was that the boot partition was on Artix and not Arch. For some reason, this was getting me an error. Now, with Arch as boot partition, i can boot both Artix and Arch.
I've did:
$ fdisk /dev/sda
a
2 (this would enable Arch, which was on sda2, the boot flag)
then i've disabled Artix as boot flag:
$ fdisk /dev/sda
a
1
and then i've just updated grub (update-grub)

Did you have a question?
sorry, fixed

Still nowhere near enough information.
What other distro?
How did you install it?
Are you using Arch's grub install or did you overwrite it with the new distros grub?
What are the contents of all the relevant configuration files?
What's your drive layout and how are all the partitions configured?
Etc, etc...
