No audio playback from USB audio interface

Hello,

I have a Roland OCTA-CAPTURE USB interface: https://www.roland.com/global/products/octa-capture/

This is detected and shows up, but sound will not play. If I try to watch a video on Youtube for instance, the video freezes and there is no sound.

I'm using KDE and if I right click the sound icon and configure audio devices, the test buttons do not play any sound. If I switch to use my monitor sound over display port instead, the test sounds play.

I'm not 100% sure what info is needed to help troubleshoot this but I'll run some of the commands I see other people posting in here.

Did this happen after e.g. a certain kernel update? There are always/often some changes around snd_usb_audio and there might be an edge case that your DAC doesn't like.
