Yesterday, after update, obs-studio can no longer start recording. It says
Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.
Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date.Yes, I ensured Software (x264) is selected in obs > setting > output session.
I checked pacman.log, it shows

126 [2021-10-23T09:57:36+0630] [ALPM] transaction completedSo, I concluded yesterday that the problem maybe because of x264 and ffmpeg update.
Today, I generated mirrors as of
https://archlinux.org/mirrorlist/?country=US&protocol=http&protocol=https&ip_version=4&use_mirror_status=onI ran ~ $ sudo pacman -Syyu expecting obs update is there. But it says,
$ sudo pacman -Syyu

I am using Arch for work very seriously.
So, what should I do?

choose a better mirror in this case?

Yes, basically the pacman warnings says that the local files are newer than what is on the mirror - so you already have upgraded from a mirror that was more up to date than the one you are now attempting to upgrade from now.
Mirrors and their update statuses makes my head spin, but thankfully there is Reflector - much recommended ![]()

Thanks for replies. I started using reflector, thanks for suggestion.
And, after obs-studio has got updated this evening, it get back to work.
Sorry for impatient posting.
