[SOLVED] directory permissions differ on /etc/

Hi, while installing virtualbox package today I encountered a warning:

warning: directory permissions differ on /etc/
filesystem: 777 package: 755

Should I change some permission? Which should I change? In this case I think it should be the filesystem, but all the files inside it?
I'm using doas instead of sudo.

You wouldn't want 777 in /etc - that gives everybody write permission.
What file system are you using?

Re: [SOLVED] directory permissions differ on /etc/

I had this problem a while ago because I recovered a broken backup.
You can solve this by using this handy script.
