[SOLVED] Nvidia GTX 780 legacy driver problem

I have Nvidia GTX 780 ins my PC
After upgrade during system boot I get an information that:

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 GPU installed in this system is supported through the NVIDIA 470.xx Legacy drivers...
There is an information that the 495.44 NVIDIA driver will ignore this GPU but loading process hangs up here.

I've checked NVIDIA's legacy card list and my card is not there.
Is this list not up to date and I can't use the latest drivers?

Or maybe for me the current solution is:

For the Kepler (NVE0) series (including GeForce 630-920) from around 2013-2014, install the nvidia-470xx-dkmsAUR package.

My system is set according to:
DRM kernel mode setting
Can I just install nvidia-470xx-dkmsAUR package and it should work or do I have to change other settings?

Why can you not try it?

Re: [SOLVED] Nvidia GTX 780 legacy driver problem

Having the same problem with my 780ti. I tried installing nvidia-dkms but was met with

ERROR: Missing 5.10.83-1-lts kernal modules tree for module nvidia/495.44

I also tried installed the nvidia-470xx-utils package from the AUR but that too just leaves the boot hanging as well. (this one doesn't give any sort of error message, everything looks fine).

See DKMS installation with respect to requiring matching kernel headers.

Re: [SOLVED] Nvidia GTX 780 legacy driver problem

Ok.
I tried nvidia-470xx-dkms, nvidia-470xx-utils and nvidia-470xx-settings from AUR.
Everything else I've set as wiki says.
Everything is working now.

Re: [SOLVED] Nvidia GTX 780 legacy driver problem

I did steps from:
Installation
And
DRM kernel mode setting
and
Early loading
and
pacman hook

Not sure if I understand your question but I didn't do this:
Custom kernel
Because I don't have custom kernel.
