Any reason Firefox ESR is not in official repos?
Many Firefox users, including myself, prefer to use ESR branch to have more stable browsing experience not ruined by Mozilla's monthly updates that break things. For that, there are firefox-esr and firefox-esr-bin packages in AUR.
But with that, a question is raised: why isn't it in official repos? Having multiple versions of same software doesn't seem to be a problem, as there is already firefox-developer-edition in [community]. Furthermore, having long-term support versions isn't something new for Arch, as there are numerous packages that do the same (e.g. libreoffice-still, linux-lts. Maintaining the package doesn't seem to be that much of a hassle, either, as PKGBUILDs for both firefox and firefox-esr are practically same.
I've been searching for an answer before, and all I found is a nine year-old post with similar question. The conclusion was that "ESR is incompatible with the Arch approach", but I believe since then many things might've changed.

If none of the packagers are interested, it does not get put in the repos.
