Hi,
my system seems to work perfectly, but in order to become a good administrator of my computer, I would resolve some errors that I have found with journalctl -p 3 -b (I'm following https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System_maintenance).
This is the complete output:

Note: I think that errors in dhcpcd could be resolved excluding the daemon's attempt to access an Ip6 network in the config files; sound is working well (although the configuration is a bit complicated, using ALSA, Jack2 and PulseAudio together).

…Your board vendor implemented ACPI by poking around until windows stopped crashing.
That's common and w/o a manifesting issue that smells acpi related: irrelevant noise.
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 1#p1687201
You're correct about
Dec 19 06:32:44 Ishmael dhcpcd[521]: ipv6_addaddr1: No such deviceDec 19 06:33:11 Ishmael kernel: ntfs3: Unknown parameter 'windows_names'You're applying an ntfs-3g parameter to an ntfs3 mount - no harm, but you could actually fix that.
(And make sure to read the 3rd link below because that *will* cause you headaches at some point)
Dec 19 06:33:09 Ishmael systemd[689]: Failed to start Sound Service. Is out of context and therefore not explainanble

Thank you Seth.
Does mounting NTFS partition in read only mode resolve the issue?

No, what issue? Aside from the wrong parameter being passed there's nothing that would suggest that there's any problem with the ntfs mount. Again the ACPI errors are largely "normal" and can be ignored unless you notice a lack in functionality you can clearly trace to these, which is quite seldom. The "only" thing you can reasonably do about these is updating your UEFI and hoping the ACPI table issues having been fixed, but as stated unless you have an actual problem due to these there's not much to be done here and you can carry on without worrying.

Ok. And if I wanted to cancel this?
Dec 19 06:33:11 Ishmael kernel: ntfs3: Unknown parameter 'windows_names'I've seen udev rules in /lib/udev/rules.d, but there isn't any string with "windows_names".

cat /etc/fstab"mounting NTFS partition in read only mode " does *NOT* help you around a hibernating windows if that was your question - this is gonna screw you in multiple ways (HW dropping out, most prominently wifi chips seem affected)
You *must* disable windows fast-start/hibernation to ensure a deterministic system behavior.
