Unable to access to UEFI settings

Hi everyone,

my laptop is an Acer Swift 3 SF314-52.

I decided to move from a configuration with ubuntu-windows11 to arch_linux-windows11.
When i was using ubuntu everything was working correctly, i can access to to the UEFI setting as it should be.

I just installed arch instead of ubuntu and the default bootloader is set to the windows one, which is not what i want.
First i tried to change the bootloader order using efibootmgr but it's not working, after rebooting the settings are still the old ones.
So i tried to acces to the UEFI setting interface but i get just a black screen with a bilking under score in the left top corner.

What can i do now?

Thank you but i think it's too hard for me to understand all of that.
Next time i will buy a laptop compatible with linux

What happens if you press F12 while booting the laptop ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

Yes, it's actually the same problem. In the past i tried with pop-os and the same issue appeared.
The weird thing is that this problem does not happens with ubuntu. Maybe it's a different systemd configuration?

What happens if you press F12 while booting the laptop ?

It let me choose which bootloader start but it's only for that time, the F12 menu does not make a permanent effect.
So the annoying thing is that every time i want to use arch i have to press the F12 button and select grub because the default bootloader is the windows one.

So try this from a Windows Administrator prompt:

bcdedit set "{bootmgr}" path "\EFI\path\to\efi_loader"

The actual \path\to\efi_loader that you should enter in the above command depends on which boot manager you used during installation and which options you passed to the boot manager installation command. If you provide those details I can offer more specific advice.

Which guide did you follow when installing Arch?
