I have been trying to get /etc/rc.d/network to add the vlans on startup by looking at http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … light=vlan but I think the init script has evolved a but since this article. I have all the stuff installed and working. I can manually run vconfig and add the vlans and restart /etc/rc.d/network and everything is fine.
