wifi getting hardware disabled after sleep HP Pavillion 15-ab027tx

after every time my laptop is going in sleep or suspend , wifi is getting hard disabled . my wireless controller is rtl8723be and I've already tried many methods mentioned in arch wiki an forum including changing the values for fwlps , ant_sel , ips , swlps etc in every permutation-combination possible.

"hard disable" is commonly a firmware/BIOS issue, check whether you'll find an update here.

Tried the mainline kernel already?

ACPI and blocked wifi yells "windows interference" - if you have a parallel windows installation, see the 3rd link below.

Interesting. I'll have to check that. Though chances are low as I updated the whole system because I tried windows 11 before switching to arch.

No sir , no dual-boot , running arch only.

… there're more google hits sad

Did you try to reload the module after the suspend resp. deactivate the network and unload the module before and reload and re-activate the network after the S3?

Did see the first and third link and did all those already . Gotta try the second one . Thank you.

Re: wifi getting hardware disabled after sleep HP Pavillion 15-ab027tx

I don't expect a mere restart of the network service to revive a hard-blocked radio. The goal was to illustrate that this is a common issue w/ the chip.
Instead try the suggested reload of the module around the suspend (what will require you to stop the network service before you unload it)
