Tunnel Release

The subject is my speculation about what happened.... Linux Hardened. [VPN Conneted at the time] Anyway I forgot that if I moved Virtual Box from one desktop to another my system would hang. As soon as I did it I realized it, system hung - I hit the power button and went to bed. When I woke-up, anything snap installed and Virtual Box will not connect to the Internet. Inside Virtual Box, Windows is displaying an attached IP address that is not my LAN. I am 10.0.0.0 - the IP is 10.0.2.15. Clearly the VPN tunnel has not released. Any suggestions before I reload these apps?

(I meant tunnel when I said pipe. I have no idea what a pipe is).
