As of today, after my Arch setup having worked for years without issues, I have encountered a weird range of network issues.
Here is what still works:
- fetching and updating arch packages
- looking up DNS records via drill
What does not work:
- fetching from the AUR via yay
- connecting to a server with SSH
- web browsing
- pinging any domain or IP (I've tried plenty)
It does not matter whether I use LAN or WLAN, NetworkManager or systemd-resolved or iwd.
The issues also do not occur in a live system, so it is not the hardware either.

What is the output of ip addr
Sounds like you may have an IPv6 address, but no IPv4 address.

Nope, I had checked that. What I forget to check, however, is pinging IPv6 addresses.
I had also rebooted multiple times last night.
Booting this morning, it all worked again, and I quickly realized that I had an iptables entry that restricts internet access at night, which somehow totally slipped my mind...
Still makes me wonder though why drill and arch mirrors were still working.

Depends on how your iptables effort to deal w/ your porn addiction is implemented :-P
And whether there's a local DNS cache, you got the pacman packages from a cache - maybe in the LAN? and/or what ports and protocols are blocked (and DNS is UDP)
Can you still ping the arch mirrors while the filter is active?
