I have a tp-link modem and I can not connect to it.
It shows connecting but it never connects.
I am sure my cable and my modem are intact becuase everything is fine in my windows computer.
I do not know what information to provide to you.

Many times I have seen a cable work with Windows, yet fail to connect on Linux. Replace the cable with a better grade of cable.
