Hi,
I got a Asus P5B Delux WiFi-AP mobo and wanted it to act as a Access Point, which seems not to be supported by the rtl8187 driver currently. I am a total newbie to wireless communication and spend the whole day on google but right now i cannot come up with a proper solution ;/
However, my question is - is there a chance to connect to a windows box in ad-hoc mode, and can i act as a gateway for that box ?
I tried to do it myself but failed ;( even if i have the driver installed properly, and it seems to work fine, windows sometimes (yeah sometimes, i don't know after what step exactly) lists my box but the connection is a disaster.
