[SOLVED] Xorg not handling correct Refresh Rate of monitor

Hi, I'm using i3wm, so it uses Xorg as backend, I have a dual monitor setup, first one is the laptop's internal monitor (eDP1 1920x1080@144hz) and the second one is Mi 34 Monitor (3440x1440)

The problem is, my Mi 34 supports 144hz in both Windows 11 and in my arch in SwayWM (Wayland), but the Xorg (i3, gnome, ...) only supports up to 120hz !, here is my xrandr :

[erfan@erfan ~]$ xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 5360 x 1440, maximum 32767 x 32767
eDP1 connected 1920x1080+3440+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 340mm x 190mm
   1920x1080 144.00*+
DP1 connected primary 3440x1440+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 800mm x 330mm
   3440x1440 50.00 + 120.00* 100.00 60.00
   2560x1080 143.90
   1720x1440 60.00
   1920x1080 120.00 119.88 60.00 60.00 50.00 59.94
   1920x1080i 60.00 50.00 59.94
   1680x1050 59.95
   1600x900 60.00
   1280x1024 75.02 60.02
   1440x900 59.89
   1280x960 60.00
   1152x864 75.00
   1280x720 60.00 50.00 59.94
   1024x768 75.03 70.07 60.00
   800x600 72.19 75.00 60.32
   720x576 50.00
   720x480 60.00 59.94
   640x480 75.00 72.81 60.00 59.94
   720x400 70.08
DP2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
HDMI1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
VIRTUAL1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
HDMI-1-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

How can I get my Xorg to support 144hz ?

And even other than this problem, I use this code below in my i3 config to set my xrandr confs at startup :

exec 'xrandr --output eDP1 --mode 1920x1080 --pos 3440x0 --rotate normal --output DP1 --primary --mode 3440x1440 --rate 120 --pos 0x0 --rotate normal --output DP2 --off --output HDMI1 --off --output VIRTUAL1 --off --output HDMI-1-0 --off'

and the strange thing is, it only sets my resoloution and positions, Not my Refresh Rate ! My Mi 34 Monitor still works at 50hz (default picked by Xorg)
and even the more strange thing is, when I run the command above manually in terminal, it applies the refresh rate to 120hz correctly !

the problem is, no matter what way I try, every method I try for auto setting my monitor refresh rate at startup, it does not work, it only applies the resoloution and position, Not the refresh rate, I have tried :
Using i3 config to run the command
Using a systemd service to run the command
Using XDG Autostart Script to run the command

no matter what autostart way I try to run the command, it only applies the res and pos, not the refresh rate
In order to apply the refresh rate to 120hz I have to manually run the command from command line after I have booted into i3

Couple of months ago I tried using SwayWM (wayland) since I couldn't find solution with Xorg, In Wayland I was able to have 144hz set nicely at startup with no pain, using SwayWM config, but then again I was not able to tolerate Wayland problems and bugs and apps support, so I got back to i3 Xorg

Some info about my graphics :

[erfan@erfan ~]$ lspci -k | grep VGA -A 2

Re: [SOLVED] Xorg not handling correct Refresh Rate of monitor

Is xf86-video-intel installed ?

If yes, try removing it.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Yes, I had it installed, I removed it and now the exec at i3 config seems to set the refresh rate, Thanks

But the problem of not listing 144hz @ 3440x1440 still remains
