[SOLVED] Cannot access network shares in Nemo

Since recently I cannot access my NAS shares via samba anymore - using Nemo.

When start Nemo in the terminal I get

Called "net usershare info" but it failed: »net usershare« returned error 255: net usershare: usershares are currently disabled

Before I already realized the file /etc/samba/smb.conf was missing, so for now I created an empty one.

Thx for any pointers to resolve this further.
